Hi there. Yeah I made it ride lower and that helped. I did run it with Lunchbox tyres for a while and it is a bit better. You need a spacer on the front hub so that the tyres don't rub. Those brass bushings that are the size of an 850 bearing will do. Many thanks for watching 😁👍

@@PeteWylieRC Thanks - yeah my Blackfoot is my original from the 80s, so I want to try and stop it rolling so I can drive it occasionally without rolling and messing up the body. Might have to get a lexan body for bashing, but will see how I go

I didn't have one break but they aren't the best really. I'd get a Kimbrough medium sized servo saver which will be stronger and also recentre better. Thanks for watching 😁

Hiya James. Oh yeah I was indeed expecting that the car would go up the bank which would slow it down nicely or launch it and wasn't expecting that very sudden stop. I thought that there would be serious breakage but it was Tamiya tough 💪💪💪😁 I don't really think that I count as a professional 🤣 Oh yes I think that the boy racers have been in the car park but not me for at least 35 years! Yes the Beetle is the ideal basher shell really and it does roll back onto the wheels most of the time. I have ordered a 22t pinion so hopefully can get that sorted and have another go. I think the key thing would be the higher KV motor but I don't think I can justify the expense right now. Cheers for your great feedback as ever. Good luck with your future attempts 😁👍👍

Hiya mate. Yeah it's pretty tricky with the standard wheelbase because you have to be really gentle with the throttle but not so gentle that you run out of car park before it's going full speed. Oh yeah I was expecting it to softly run into the bushes at the side of the car park and didn't realise that the kerb was just tall enough to stop it dead 😬 Tamiya tough though 👍👍 It would be great to put a system like Bob's into yours or Robs long wheelbase cars because they could probably take the speed without flipping. Yeah don't know how you can do better in the brushed class because you tried all the different motors last year. Anyway, hope you are ok with your bad back and managing to get around. @@coygtrc Hi there. Yeah I think that this is as fast as it will go with this setup. Mark and Rob had the best idea of lengthening the chassis to keep the front wheels down. I think that it should have been a rule that you need to keep the standard wheelbase because it makes it more difficult. Many thanks indeed for watching 😁👍

@PeteWylieRC Perhaps try the 22t pinion ? In theory, it should accelerate a little slower (not sure as Lipo + Brushless = so much torque) and top speed should be about 10% faster, granted you can put full bean and have a long enough road 🤞 Also some expo on the throttle channel.

Hi there. Oh yes I think that if you can get a used Kraton 6s for a reasonable cost then there are plenty of spares and upgrades available. Be useful if you can see what condition the gears are in before you buy. A friend of mine has the EXB version and he really likes it. It's a beast for doing jumps. I've not ever done the wide mod on the Granite so hard to say. Both cars are really good fun. I've noticed that the 3s Granite is out of stock now and I'm wondering if they are on the brink of launching a version 4? If they did that and included metal shocks on it then it would be good. The 4s cars are currently better value with the centre diffs, big bore shocks, metal gears etc. Also look at the 4s Kraton which still does back flips but the front wheels are on the ground more often so easier to steer. @@PeteWylieRC ye it would be cool if they made a granite 4. The only thing that worries me about the outcast 4s is that it’s been reported from many people that the chassi breaks. I know about the chassi brace and hinge pin mod you can do and maybe that will almost bulletproof it. Is the granite much easier to backflip?

@@t3floz The chassis on 3s and 4s cars is pretty much the same but I think that the extra weight of the 4s is possibly the reason that people are breaking them. I'm mostly running on grass and haven't broken any yet. Yeah the smaller size and weight of the Granite makes it easier to back flip 👍

@@PeteWylieRC ok I'll try to improve, basically when I turned on the car and turned the control to the left, the car turned to the right, that is, it was inverted, so I put it in reverse on the control to return to normal, I would like to understand why it happened like this inverted way

@@marcosfmtb Oh I see. Some brands of servo work in the opposite direction to others so I suspect it's just that 🤔
